How we sold our house in 5 days!!
I first met Angela kind of by chance when I listed my house for sale by owner. After a week of that it was apparant I needed the help of a pro. We spoke to a few agents, and decided to go with Angela. Thats when she went in to ACTION!!! From the great pictures and suggestions - to way she arrived ahead of time to show the house - I was very impressed. She took great care to secure our house and pets too!! It all started on a Monday and by that Friday we had two great offers.

After almost ten years we had outgrown our starter home and wanted to upgrade. When it came time to put our house on the market I recalled meeting Angela at one of her listings. I remembered that she had a really vibrant personality, good taste in homes and décor and a realistic view of the current market. She came over to our house and in a short time gave us great advice how to quickly and easily improve our curb appeal. Angela didn't just stick a sign in our front yard, she used creative sales techniques like posting ads on craigslist, open houses, and created a beautiful slideshow detailing the features of our home. We had showing after showing and finally an offer, which we accepted. Suddenly we had three weeks to find a new home - and an impending hurricane in the Gulf. Within days, unbelievably to us (I had been scouring the internet for a year looking for the right house) Angela found us the perfect house. The size was right, the location was perfect, the price was high. Her sense of humor and pure determination was my savior as she guided us through a very complicated and very difficult negotiation and sale – a foreclosure owned by a bank in California. She worked incredibly hard and we got nothing short of an amazing deal. Although it was her first foreclosure she took full charge, making all the right calls, quickly learning the ins and outs of dealing with foreclosures. When Gustav hit and we hadn't closed on either house, she kept in constant contact. And when it looked impossible to close on our new house by the sale of our old house, Angela charged ahead, didn't give up and we ended up closing on both houses on the same day! She was so supportive, knowledgeable and willing to take my late night frantic phone calls and texts - it was really a pleasure doing business with her. It has been a couple of months now and we still marvel that it all worked out! I recommend her to everyone I know and although I hope I don't have to move for a very long time, would only use Angela.

Angela was an absolute joy to work with while purchasing our first home. After Hurricane Katrina, I was transferred by my company into the New Orleans area. I was in hot pursuit of a house in the Uptown historic section of New Orleans but had no idea who to call in to help me with my search. As a transplant from Upstate New York, I knew little about the market. After several weeks of driving around and talking to many realtors, I was driving down Magazine St and I saw a sign for a property that Angela Murtagh had listed.
